Encore is Spotify's internal design system, responsible for providing the building blocks for the Spotify client used by music loveres world wide, as well as several other Spotify sites used by Creators, the Marketing team, and many internal teams. I've helped work on both web and foundational features for the design system and been with the team through multiple major release cycles.
Having a mature design system means that as we innovate, we must keep our customers' ability to upgrade top of mind. Migration tooling efforts in the form of codemods, paired with education on new features, has allowed us to move forward without leaving anyone behind.
